Willy Wonka opening, and a contemplation of the colour of 'good'

It's all gone a bit topsy turvy there is grass on the inside and a giant bottle floating in mid air. Steve, Manda, I and a trusty team of volunteers spent most of last week knee deep in wallpaper paste and pink paint. As a result the show is finally up and running at the Herne Bay Museum. People are stopping by to make resolutions and tell us what they think kindness looks like.

The opening was a bit Willy Wonka with plenty of free flowing chocolate chip ice cream and Berrie Crumble (the authentic Aussie cook) was on hand to help you customise your own fairy cakes. No oompha loompas's or chocolate rivers sadly but maybe next time.

So I was thinking it might be time to put my feet up and sit back in the green grass deckchair for a little while contemplating what colour 'good' actually is. Alas no there too much to do. On the horizon we have bingo, film nights, photographic exhibitions and hopefully the biggest brightest picnic Memorial park has ever seen.
